Prof. Adesina Sodiya FNCS

Prof. SODIYA Adesina Simon started his career in the IT industry, where he worked as a programmer and network administrator. He later joined University of Agriculture, Abeokuta as a Senior programmer in 1995. In 2001, he joined the Department of Computer Science, University of Agriculture, Abeokuta as an Assistant Lecturer. He then rose over the years and became a Professor in 2015.
Sodiya A. S. is a Professor of Computer Science and Information Security, currently in the Department of Computer Science, University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Ogun state, Nigeria. He completed his Ph.D in Computer Science in 2004 with a focus on Information Security. He has taught courses in Information Security and other areas of Computer Science at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Head, Information Security and Intelligent Systems Group, FUNAAB

Prof Ndubuisi Ekekwe

Prof Ndubuisi Ekekwe invented and patented a robotic system which the United States Government acquired assignee rights. Dr Ekekwe holds two doctoral and four master’s degrees including a PhD in engineering from Johns Hopkins University, USA. He earned an undergraduate degree from FUT Owerri where he graduated as his class best student. While in Analog Devices Corp, he co-designed an accelerometer for the iPhone. A recipient of IGI Global “Book of the Year” award, a TED Fellow, IBM Global Entrepreneur and World Economic Forum Young Global Leader, Prof. Ekekwe has held professorships in Carnegie Mellon University and Babcock University, and served in the United States National Science Foundation Committee.
The South African press called him “a doctor of innovation” for helping organizations on the mechanics of business innovation, strategy, and growth. Since 2009, the Chairman of Fasmicro Group which controls many startups and entities has been writing in the Harvard Business Review. He was recognized by The Guardian as one of 60 Nigerians Making “Nigerian Live Matter” on Nigeria’s 60th Independence Day.

Engr. Femi Williams FNCS

Engr. Sunday Olufemi Williams is the Chief Enabling Officer of Newwaves Ecosystems Limited and he is known for his very hands-on and versed IT skills. He was formerly the Group Managing Director of the Chams group, having served on the Chams PLC board as non- executive director for over 15 years.
Femi obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Electrical Engineering from the University of Ife in 1989as well as a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi. He is an alumnus of the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), United State of America. He is also an alumnus of the Lagos Business School, where he successfully completed the Chief Executive and the International Management Programme.
Over the last 30 years, Olufemi Williams has made immense contributions to the IT industry. He led a technical team in pioneering technology solutions in Nigeria. The implementation of the novel Bank Verification Number (BVN) project was within the leadership of Femi Williams, ensuring its successful delivery.
Femi is a fellow of the Nigeria Computer Society (NCS) and the Institute of Credit Administration (ICA). He is a member of the Computer Professionals Registration Council of Nigeria (CPN), the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Ikoyi Club and Metropolitan Club.

Dr. Yele Okeremi FNCS

Yele Okeremi is the Founding and incumbent Chief Executive Officer of Precise Financial Systems Ltd (PFS). A company he co-founded with a capital of less than $60 in 1994. He is an Adjunct Professor of Business Strategy at the Nobel International Business School Accra, Ghana. Okeremi holds a Doctor of Business Administration degree from the Swiss Business School, Zurich, Switzerland having previously obtained a Master of Applied Business Research from the same institution. He also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science (with Economics) from the Obafemi Awolowo University and a Masters in Business Administration. He is an alumnus of the Wits Business School, Johannesburg South Africa and Harvard Business School, Boston, Massachusetts, USA where he completed the Owner President Management Program. He is also an alumnus of INSEAD Fontainebleau, France where he completed the International Directors Program and obtained the Certificate in Corporate Governance.
Prior to PFS, he had a successful professional career at Inlaks Computers before he proceeded to Industrial Bank Limited (Merchant Bankers) as a Programmer/Analyst. He was the Chief Information Officer of Industrial Bank as at the time he left for Ventura Savings and Loans Limited as the Head, Systems and Logistics department. He held this position until 1994 when he co-founded PFS with Philip Ayeni, a Chartered Accountant.
As a leading icon in software development in Nigeria, Okeremi is a member of the Presidential Initiative for developing the software industry in Nigeria and has previously served on the board of the Nigeria Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA). He is the President of the Institute of Software Practitioners of Nigeria (ISPON) having previously served as Second and First Vice President and Chairman Legal and Legislative Committee of the Institute.

Adetayo Bamiduro

Adetayo Bamiduro is the Co-founder and CEO of MAX, a pioneering mobility infrastructure and services company based in Nigeria. MAX is creating technology, financial services and EV infrastructure to power Africa’s $250B mobility industry. MAX has unlocked $40m+ in capital and is backed by elite global investors such as Alitheia Capital, Yamaha, Mastercard, Novastar Ventures and Breakthrough Energy Ventures, representing the largest fundraise by a mobility company based in sub-Saharan Africa.
Previously, Adetayo worked as a software engineer, product manager, and management consultant at PwC, Dalberg and Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas. Adetayo has been awarded the Alibaba eFounders Fellowship, MIT Legatum Fellowship, and the World Economic Forum's Inclusive Growth Award. Adetayo holds an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and London Business School. .

Iyinoluwa Aboyeji

Aboyeji is the general partner and co-founder of Future Africa, a platform that provides capital, coaching and community for mission-driven innovators.

After co-founding Future Africa, he served as the deputy director-general for Madam Oby Ezekwesili's 2019 presidential campaign. He also helped in building Andela and Flutterwave, two of Africa's technology companies. He is also the Co-founder and Chairman of the Talent City Inc, a construction company. Iyinoluwa Aboyeji is an entrepreneur in the public interest. He is passionate about partnering with missionary talent and capital to build an African future. He spent the last few years as the CEO of Flutterwave, a business building payments technology and infrastructure to connect Africa to the global economy. Over those years, he led the company to become one of the fastest growing payments technology businesses of all-time processing over $2 billion across over 50 million transaction with annual revenues of millions of dollars a year.

It also attracted significant investment from experienced players in the global payments arena such as Y Combinator (investors in Stripe), Greycroft (investors in Braintree), Greenvisor Capital (Led by the Former CEO of Visa), Mastercard amongst others. Prior to helping to co-found and lead Flutterwave, Iyinoluwa co-founded Andela - Africa's largest engineering organization with over 1000 software engineers which has received investment from Mark Zuckerberg and Google Ventures amongst others. Iyin now heads Fund for Africa’s Future where he spends time helping founders, philanthropists and investors from around the world understand how to do build fast growing and impactful technology businesses in Africa.

He is working to identify passionate and experienced missionary entrepreneurs with the integrity and courage to flawlessly execute in Africa while developing a data backed and informed point of view on how to turn Africa's largest challenges into incredible business opportunities. Fund for Africa’s Future celebrates missionary entrepreneurs while empowering them to serve the next generation of missionary entrepreneurs. Bekere Amassoma is an enthusiastic Program Manager eager to contribute to team success through hard work, attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. She has an excellent reputation for resolving problems, improving customer satisfaction and driving overall operational improvements. She has consistently saved costs while increasing profits. Her experience spans across several sectors such as Technology, Education, FMCG, Ecommerce, Public Relations and Social Enterprises.

Nenne Adaora Nwodo

Nenne Adaora Nwodo (who fondly likes to be called Adora), is a Software Engineer based in Lagos, Nigeria. She currently works at Microsoft where she builds cloud services and high value experiences related to Artificial Intelligence and Mixed Reality.
In 2018, she created a blog called AdoraHack where she publishes articles on Software Engineering, Productivity & Career Growth. In June 2019, she created a YouTube channel for AdoraHack where she posts tech content that could be useful to Software Developers. In March 2021, she won the Young CISO Network Excellence in Disruptive Technology, Cloud and Embedded Device Security Award for her work in building and advocating for Disruptive Technology on the Cloud.
Adora is extremely passionate about the developer community and is trying to drive inclusion for women in technology. She co-organizes community events, contributes to open source and speaks at technology conferences/meetups worldwide.

Khalil Balogun

Founder Balogun khalil leads a regional consortium of experts for development who uses technology as an enabler for achieving SDGs(Tech To Slums). He is also the Chief Executive officer of Petabyte Technology Limited which is domiciled in Nigeria.
He supports research on the impact of emerging technologies (artificial intelligence, IoT, blockchain), data privacy and research collaborations. He is a member of the Ogun Tech Community and has done fine several training in areas of Leadership training, cyber Security, digital literacy and data science.
Balogun has a long track record in the use of ICT for massive developmental impact and has collaborated with so many organisations including the Olusegun Obasanjo presidential library. He has mentored many great emerging technology innovators and has been featured in several TV and radio programs propagating the use of Ict and importance of digital literacy and digital enabled economy.

Khalil Halilu

From selling ice blocks to neighbours to founding West Africa’s First Eco-friendly Technology hub, Khalil Suleiman Halilu is a living testament that anything can be achieved if you give your mind to it. Today Khalil is linking his love for technology with his enthusiasm for finding viable solutions in his field of activity. His determination, dedication and hard work has not simply added quality to humankind but also transformed the narrative of automation on the African continent.
Follow this young man’s truly inspirational coming of age tale of being born in Kano, Nigeria, to becoming one of the most established and familiar names in nigerian techpreneurs and continual progress in Africa. Today, Khalil is an authority in the modern technology sector of Nigeria and the African continent. In his own remarks, Khalil reveals that “life is filled with uncertainties and challenges but it is up to you to choose from which perspective you wish to look at these challenges and then change and adapt your attitude accordingly.
Only when your perspective has changed will you be able to see the opportunities that lie ahead.” Passion, determination, hard work and perseverance is all it takes to reach new heights and grow as an individual. Adekunle Durosinmi

Adekunle Ezekiel Durosinmi is a mentor per excellence, a benefactor, philanthropist, researcher, lecturer, academia and by all standard a motivator. He has had a progressive and accomplished academic, research and professional career in computing. He has a Masters’ degree in Computer Science (Computer Security Specialization) from the Caleb University, Lagos; a B.Sc degree in Computer Science Caleb University, Lagos, an Higher National Diploma in Computer Engineering from The Federal Polytechnic, Offa and National Diploma in Computer Engineering from the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, Nigeria.

He has published over Ten (10) scholarly articles in local and international journals. He has also presented over Thirty (30) papers at both local and international conferences, resulting inclusive in referred conference proceedings. He is also currently working on Handbook of Research Managing Information Systems in Developing Economies accepted by IGI Global Production USA alongside his counterpart in the University of Ghana Business School.

An expert at spotting technology patterns and digital trends, he supports with articulating cost-optimized and agile pathways for high profile clients to build differentiated capabilities with existing portfolios, as well as new product pipelines.
Ifeanyi leads the TMT consulting team at one of the most established technology practices in Sub Saharan Africa, matching technology trends with commercial and strategic industry input and helping C-Level project sponsors achieve timely benefit realization on strategic corporate initiatives. A recognized industry leader, and sought-after voice he frequently contributes to industry-shaping policy thrusts and reforms in Nigeria and across the continent.

Farida Kabir

Farida is a software engineer and a technical product manager with over 10 years experience working in the technology industry as team lead for Google women tech makers program and as the CEO of OTRAC where she led a team of engineers, data scientists and UX researchers to design and develop custom enterprise solution for the government, it’s agencies as well as development partners.
Farida is currently a Digital Development Specialist working within the World Bank Group’s Digital Development Global Practice on the Nigeria Identification for Development (ID4D) project. In this role, she is leading the collection of data on performance, security, functionality and overall architecture of the biometric systems for enrollment, including aspects related to people, processes as well as technology, which will inform the necessary policy and strategic reforms needed to ensure a robust and protected national identity management system.
Farida also trains and mentors young girls on software development and career paths in IT. She is passionate about the conscious use of technology as a tool to improve socio-economic development indices in developing countries like Nigeria, particularly in healthcare and governance which will in turn translate into improved service delivery and transparency in delivering those services.
Farida has won various awards in the course of her career, including the 2020 Most Powerful People in Tech and YTech 100 by YNaija, the Innoventor Award by Verdant Zeal Group, and Nigeria’s 100 Most Inspiring Women of 2019 by Leading Ladies Africa. In 2016 she was the only Nigerian amongst five Africans that was awarded by the French President, François Hollande, in recognition of her pioneering entrepreneurial strides in Health Technology.
